CA Technologies, a company that specializes in IT management, has launched a new software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution. The company has released CA Cloud Service Management to address myriad ITSM challenges and empower end users.

CA Cloud Service Management offers:

  • Asset management and discovery

  • Drag-and-drop workflows

  • In-app guidance

  • Mobile support from any device

  • Self-service dashboards and reporting

Lokesh Jindal, CA’s general manager of IT business management, commented on the release in a prepared statement:

“The explosion of applications and devices deployed in the enterprise has made service delivery a cornerstone of employee and business productivity. CA has designed a solution that unlocks the full potential of SaaS by focusing on what matters to customers – employee satisfaction, speed of deployment and reduced cost of ownership.”

CA pointed out the solution leverages a “configure, don’t code” approach that accelerates implementation and ensures service delivery and resource provisioning can be automated in minutes.

The company also noted CA Cloud Service Management is a “true SaaS solution” that requires minimial training, upgrades automatically and adjusts capacity as needed.

“Solutions like CA Cloud Service Management can deliver on the promise of SaaS ITSM by focusing on efficiently meeting the core needs of user personas rather than a sophisticated technical platform that’s difficult to maintain and upgrade,” said Robert Young, International Data Corp‘s research manager for its enterprise system management software segment.

CA is offering a demo and free trial of its new SaaS solution here.
