Microsoft Windows Azure Inner Circle Grows with Neudesic

Microsoft has expanded its Windows Azure PaaS partner advisory council yet again with the announcement that custom cloud application developer Neudesic would be joining the Azure Circle program.

Much like previous circle entrant Nimbo, Neudesic is claiming to have plenty of experience in developing cloud solutions designed to meet specific customer needs, all hosted from the Microsoft Windows Azure cloud. Its most-hyped offering is the Cloud Computing Assessment, which, according to Neudesic, can calculate a pretty solid estimate of the ROI and TCO savings from going to a Microsoft cloud.

“This achievement clearly acknowledges the serious investment Neudesic has made in developing and delivering world-class cloud computing solutions on Microsoft’s Azure Platform. Our experts are leading the way in bringing practical, real-world solutions for customers to the cloud, streamlining operations and increasing revenue,” said Neudesic CEO Parsa Rohani in a prepared statement.

But with great honor comes great responsibility: Neudesic now is tasked with providing Microsoft feedback and suggestions on how Windows Azure can better compete in the PaaS and cloud marketplaces. Microsoft is short on details when it comes to this program, but it’s invitation-only and seems to be fairly exclusive.

The Azure Circle program isn’t the only way Microsoft recognizes its top cloud partners, but it’s the way that could result in a stronger overall channel play for ISVs and integrators. Stay tuned to TalkinCloud for more.
