Windstream has extended its proprietary unified communications (UC) solution to Kinetic Business by Windstream SMB customers.

OfficeSuite UC is an over-the-top solution that provides anywhere, anytime access from any device. It offers, for business customers, integration with all communications tools; business mobility via softphone apps or mobile twinning; built-in business continuity if the office loses power or suffers a disaster; and an administrative portal for customizing and configuring user profiles and call routing.

Jeff Auman, executive vice president of Kinetic sales and marketing, tells Channel Partners with this introduction, Windstream’s partners now have the opportunity to market and sell a “robust, feature-rich communication and collaboration solution” that delivers valuable capabilities and benefits to businesses of all sizes at a compelling price point.

“This expansion will benefit our partners by creating new opportunities in the small and midsize business space,” he said. “OfficeSuite UC enables mobility and flexibility with video conferencing and call routing, as well as enhanced collaboration with instant chat and screen sharing, all through a single, intuitive interface. This creates a selling advantage as the alternative to this unified solution is a patchwork of less holistic products.”

With more customers using this platform, OfficeSuite UC integrates with other next-generation connectivity solutions such as fiber-optic connections or cloud-optimized SD-WAN deployments.
