I’m always excited to arrive at a show and see familiar faces as well as put faces to the new names. Occasionally I even get to meet somebody with whom I’ve spoken on the phone for several years. At the last show in Chicago, I finally got to meet Caroline Lotti from American Telesis and believe me — she has just as much spunk in person as she does over the phone! I find that face-to-face interaction creates more memorable connections and that is one of my favorite things about trade shows. Greg Plum  with the Conference Group always has a heartfelt hello for me, and I look forward to seeing his crew as usual at the show in a couple weeks!

Great business relationships often begin with a simple sincere greeting or casual glass of wine between events. Who will you meet at the Channel Partners Expo that will become a long-time friend, great customer or even the secret-keeper of that crazy Vegas party where you had the time of your life?
