Master agency Intelisys Communications Inc. is merging with Resource Communications LLC, another telecom master agency.

The combined company will be named Intelisys Communications Inc.

The companies expect the transaction to be completed by the end of 2005, and say the companies bring together complementary business models that will push sales for suppliers and partners.

With this agreement, Intelisys and Resource add exciting new opportunities for their sales partners to deliver a broader mix of telecommunications products and services to their end-user customers, says Rick Dellar, cofounder of Intelisys.

Rick Sheldon, cofounder of Intelisys, adds the merger will increase long-term strength, and maximize sales and profitability. The strength of the combined company will position us to deliver additional exclusive advantages to our top-producing sales partners, he adds.
