Novus One of 'Select Few' Distributors to Earn Microsoft Gold Competency for Lync

Novus LLC said this week it has earned Microsofts Partner Network Gold Communications competency, specifically in regard to the Lync platform.

Chris Meehan, managing partner at Novus, said the distributor is “one of the select few in the world” to achieve the Microsoft designation.

“It is important for both integrators and their enterprise clients to have the assurance that the entire value chain is Microsoft-certified,” Meehan added.

To secure the Microsoft competency, Novus had to prove that it could meet rigorous technical, sales and marketing standards. Now, Novus aims to expand the base of Microsoft Lync users as that unified communications product gains adoption among businesses. So far, Novus’ Lync portfolio includes IP phones, media gateways, headsets, load balancers and SIP trunks.
