Telarus’ Joseph Galluzzi

Joseph Galluzzi is the company’s new vice president of the Northeast. The job puts him in charge of field sales teams in Philadelphia, Boston and New York. Telarus said it aims to make the Northeast “its top producing region nationwide.”

Scott Forbush, senior vice president of sales, credited Galluzzi’s track record.

“Joe is a person that everyone in the northeast knows and trusts. With over 25 years of experience supporting partners in the Northeast, he will have no problem working hand-in-hand with his team to attract the top-selling partners in the area,” Forbush said. “He and his team are experts at helping new and existing partners leverage of all the unique tools and resources Telarus provides for them to grow their cloud, network and UCaaS practices. With his track record of leadership, responsiveness and thorough understanding of today’s communication technology, we do not doubt that he’ll be able to help our partners in the Northeast crush their own sales goals.”

Galluzzi worked for the previous five years at Time Warner Cable (TWC) as a regional channel manager, then Charter Communications after it bought TWC in 2016 and moved it into the Spectrum Enterprise unit. His tenure at Spectrum/TWC came after 20 years in the channel for One Communications, which EarthLink bought in 2011.

Galluzzi says in his Linkedin profile that he has historically focused on small and mid-tier customers. He said in Telarus’ announcement that he has partnered with his new employer in multiple scenarios.

“Telarus has done a great job in staffing and partner development in this area over the past few years, so I’m definitely coming into a house with stocked shelves,” Galluzzi said.

Telarus this year has announced numerous hires that increase its presence in numerous regions of the U.S. Regan Roberts and Phillip Brekke recently joined as regional senior partner development managers.

“I look forward to continuing to add to that team and to recruiting new enterprise-focused technology partners focused on growing their contact center, UCaaS, and SD-WAN practices,” Galluzzi said. “Telarus has built and purchased so many time-saving software tools over the past decade, and in the Northeast, those assets are the best-kept secrets in the business. My new team will be focused on changing that paradigm and helping partners expand their business in ways our competition can’t or won’t.”

Nicole Beck, another former Spectrum Enterprise employee, joined Telarus last year as a regional senior partner development manager.
