Mitel has certified net2phone‘s SIP trunking solution, providing expanded opportunities for the company’s partners.

The solution now is certified to be interoperable with Mitel IP-PBX communications systems. net2phone will provide an integrated voice solution featuring unlimited calling, virtual phone numbers and an enhanced communications experience, the company said.

As a Mitel-certified SIP provider, net2phone has joined the Mitel Solutions Alliance, which supports services that are fully compatible with Mitel’s enterprise, cloud and mobile communications. net2phone is a subsidiary of IDT, a provider of telecommunications and payment services.

net2phone’s George Longyear

George Longyear, net2phone’s vice president of channel sales, tells Channel Partners that his company’s partners now will have greater access to all of Mitel’s customers, “effectively creating a larger pool of potential buyers to boost sales and increase profit margins.”

We recently compiled a list of 20 top UCaaS providers offering products and services via channel partners.

“For example, a channel partner can now reach out to customers with an on-premises Mitel IP-PBX and offer the net2phone SIP trunking solution as a means to enhance their voice experience and lower their costs, without replacing their existing equipment,” he said.

In addition to being certified by Mitel, net2phone’s SIP trunking solution also is certified by Avaya, Cisco, 3CX, Panasonic and NEC, “ensuring it’s in the top of its class,” Longyear said.

“On top of a premium voice experience, net2phone’s SIP trunking solution also includes unlimited calling nationwide and international to over 30 countries — a true differentiator,” he said. “net2phone is a worldwide leader in the communications arena. We continue to enhance our product, expand our presence, and excel at meeting the needs of our channel partners and their customers. This Mitel certification is just another step in our goal to be the No. 1 UCaaS provider in the world.”

“Building and maintaining the right technology relationships to deliver customers high-value integrated solutions is a critical component for success in the business communications marketplace,” said David Lowenstein, director of business development for the Mitel Solutions Alliance. “Mitel works with best-of-breed companies like net2phone to deliver complete solutions that address the business challenges of our customers.”
