MSPs globally now can sell, manage and support LogMeIn‘s LastPass Enterprise password manager service.

As part of the LogMeIn Partner Network, MSPs can offer LastPass Enterprise password manager to their customers to enable secure access for all online applications. MSPs also have access to new sub-account functionality built directly into LastPass. That provides a single view over multiple, uniquely managed LastPass accounts.

As a result, MSPs now have greater visibility and control over every access point of their customer’s business.

Big Success for MSPs

Rick Ribas is LogMeIn’s vice president of global channels. He said input from MSP partners was essential to LogMeIn’s go-to-market for this offering.

MSPs were active participants throughout the product launch, including market interviews when initially scoping, as well as in our beta where we provisioned MSPs’ access to the solution and held interviews to gain additional feedback,” he said. “The initial soft launch has been a huge success with over 35 MSPs on board in just the first few weeks.”

Here’s our most recent list of new products and services that agents, VARs, MSPs and other partners offer.

MSPs are more valuable to customers with the more products and services they can offer, Ribas added.

LogMein saw the potential LastPass Enterprise has to provide enhanced access point visibility and control for MSPs’ customers.

“This solution was designed specifically for MSPs, with one central admin console, flexibility to add or remove seats, and monthly billing options,” he said. “This gives MSPs the opportunity to generate new revenue streams by providing a security solution with competitive margins in a $13.4 billion growth market.”

LogMeIn introduced its partner network in 2017. It allows different types of channel partners and distributors to offer its products to their respective partners, customers and prospects.

LogMeIn has 17 products available to channel partners. They include LastPass, Bold360, GoToMeeting, GoToWebinar, GoToRoom and GoToConnect, as well as LogMeIn Central, Pro and Rescue.

In addition to MSPs, LastPass also supports referral and reseller partners.

“Part of our goal is to increase our MSP partner pool,” Ribas said. “We are aiming to reach 80% of LastPass sales through the channel by the end of 2021. The product is a fit for virtually every type of business. However, we are also expanding our product offerings to support our hundreds of current channel partners worldwide. We are providing new solutions that will fit into their own offerings and that can be easily incorporated into their customers’ environments.”

New GoToRoom Bundles

Also Wednesday, LogMeIn announced seven new hardware bundles for its GoToRoom huddle, conference and boardroom offering.

The new, all-in-one video conferencing offerings are from partners Dolby, Logitech and Poly. They provide flexible choices for home offices to large meeting spaces. Furthermore, a new partnership with Extron enables custom setups for outfitting corporate boardrooms.

This is the largest GoToRoom expansion to date, bringing the number of hardware bundles up to 10 kits.

“The GoToRoom bundles provide our channel partners with a greater variety of high-quality video conferencing solutions to offer their clients, whether that’s for upgrading executives’ home offices or business’ in-office huddle rooms or boardrooms,” Ribas said. “We also added a new integration with Extron’s top-tier control processors and touch panels to enable greater control and customization of the audio and visual hardware. These new hardware kits provide our partners more options to transform a variety of spaces into cutting-edge, video-enabled collaborative spaces at a low monthly subscription price point.”

We recently compiled a list of 20 top UCaaS providers offering products and services via channel partners.

All GoToRoom bundles will be available for purchase using the room-as-a-service (RaaS) model, which LogMeIn launched in 2019. The RaaS model allows businesses to pay an all-inclusive monthly rate for both the hardware and software. That eliminates the need for large upfront costs when outfitting multiple rooms.

“As companies around the globe embrace this new work-from-anywhere mentality, our GoToRoom systems are incredibly easy to deploy in just a matter of minutes, available with our popular RaaS payment option for all kits and regions, and designed to support a variety of needs and sizes of conference rooms with best-in-class hardware partners and a simple and affordable, but powerful updated user experience,” said Mark Strassman, LogMeIn‘s senior vice president and general manager of UCC.
