CSG Systems Enhances Data Mediation

CSG Systems announced at Billing and OSS World 2004, an update of its data mediation product which now supports the latest Oracle database, handles WLAN and PacketCable records and adds open-standards APIs to communicate with other applications throughout the enterprise, such as rating and content management.

The new APIs allow active communication, so mediation can be used to populate records with real-time information. Because the system can report more data to more systems, the solution eliminates data silos and contributes to a comprehensive view of the customer transaction processing.
