Chicago-based TBI has doled out 10 awards to its top suppliers.

AT&T took home honors for Vendor of the Year, and its own Scott Kalata won Channel Manger of the Year.

Meantime, its rival Verizon also won two awards: Back Office of the Year for Omni Center – TBI’s multichannel contact center that performs both outbound and inbound vendor and partner campaigning – and Omni Center Vendor of the Year. Comcast Business doubled up as well, winning Marketing Vendor of the Year and Omni Center Channel Manager of the Year.

TBI honored the award winners at its Big Event, May 9, in Chicago.

The relationship between AT&T and TBI goes way back. TBI was the only master agent to make platinum in the AT&T Alliance Channel.

Other companies won awards. 8×8 and CloudGenix won the respective UCaaS/CCaaS and SD-WAN categories. 8×8 channel chief John DeLozier showered praise on TBI.

John DeLozier gave a keynote session at the conference, discussing the centrality of customer experience. Other vendors shared their predictions and warnings for the rise of 5G
