AireSpring’s Greg Haines

A 20-year TPx executive, Haines will focus on fulfilling AireSpring’s “commitment to partner support while ensuring that customers enjoy the full benefit of AireSpring’s white glove service,” the company said. He will manage a team comprised of both customer care and repair technicians.

“We are very happy to welcome Greg as our new director of service assurance,” said Darren Sandford, AireSpring’s senior vice president of operations. “We are committed to the long-term relationships we build with partners and their customers. Greg’s vast experience in managing complex technical installations and effectively leading broadly based teams of professionals will add tremendously to our record of success during this next period of growth for AireSpring.”

Here’s our list of channel people on the move in December.

Haines most recently was TPx‘s senior director of reliability and repair operations center, premier and wholesale, overseeing service installations and agent relations. During this period, he was involved in migrating newly acquired customers gained through TPx’s multiple acquisitions. He was instrumental in developing a one-stop repair shop for the TPx hosted PBX solution.

Haines began his career in telecom during his military service with the U.S. Army, then worked for TCG in Dallas as a field operations supervisor until its acquisition by AT&T. He then was recruited to join TelePacific (now TPx) in Los Angeles.

Combining his knowledge of the AireSpring suite of products, together with the channel partner experience and the customer perspective, Haines will work to keep his team up-to-date on new technologies and the most current training opportunities.

Also this week, the connectivity and cloud communications provider announced it has hired Verizon and Windstream alum Jesse Michael as its Southeast channel manager.
