8x8 Expands Open Communications Platform Reach with Telarus

Telarus wants to accelerate business opportunities into the United Kingdom for its sales partners.

Telarus partners in the United Kingdom can now offer as part of their portfolio the 8×8 Open Communications platform.

Telarus is a partner in the 8×8 Open Channel Program. The master agent says it has grown a lot by partnering with 8×8 in the United States. And now it wants to extend and accelerate its sales partners’ business opportunities in the U.K.

The 8×8 Open Communications platform combines cloud voice, team chat, video meetings and contact center. It allows organizations to move to the cloud and transform the digital workplace.

“We’ve witnessed the transformation of 8×8 into a channel-first company, and experienced phenomenal sales growth participating in the 8×8 Open Channel Program,” said Scott Forbush, Telarus’ senior vice president of global sales. “We now have a great opportunity to take the partnership to the next level and replicate this success for our sales partners in the U.K.”

Big Demand in the UK

U.K. organizations are realizing it’s important to move away from legacy on-premises communication systems to achieve long-term success. That’s according to Greg McVey, Telarus’ regional vice president for the U.K.

We recently compiled a list of 20 top UCaaS providers offering products and services via channel partners.

“We are very excited to extend 8×8’s … communications, collaboration and contact center solutions to our sales partners in the U.K. as they guide their customers through this essential transition,” he said.

The 8×8 Open Channel Program offers tiered levels of dedicated resources for lead generation and conversion. It also offers customizable marketing campaigns to reach prospects.
