Continuum has released Continuity247, a managed backup platform built on R1Soft technology. The Boston-based remote monitoring and management (RMM) platform provider acquired R1Soft in August.

In addition, Continuum and data backup and disaster recovery (BDR) solutions provider Datto announced they will stop selling their Vault joint solution at the end of June.

Continuity247 enables Continuum’s managed service provider (MSP) partners to monitor, troubleshoot and remediate any problems and ensure customer backups run at all times, according to Continuum.

The platform is powered by the IBM (IBM) SoftLayer infrastructure, Continuum said, and allows its MSP partners to manage all customer backups from a single pane of glass with remote access to appliances, protected machines and the cloud.

“Continuity247 is fully managed, meaning that our industry-leading NOC assists in DR and DR testing as well as troubleshoots backup failures and ensures backups run on time. We have 24x7x365 monitoring and support so our MSP partners can ‘set it and forget it,'” Dee Zepf, Continuum’s vice president of products and technical services, told MSPmentor.

Continuum said several Continuity247 packages are now available; all packages are priced monthly, do not require an annual contract and are built to scale at the MSP’s pace.

Also, Continuum and Datto confirmed they will discontinue selling the Vault BDR product line on June 30.

“We developed a new product that better meets the BDR needs of MSP partners,” Zepf said. “Our partners have asked for solutions at both the low end and the high end, so we are now delivering Continuity247 to support more of our core partners’ clients, the complete small and medium-sized business market.”

Zepf added that Continuum and Datto will continue to support all partners on their existing Vault appliances through May 2019.
