Bowman Systems Relies on Venyu's Data Center for Recovery Services

venyu.jpgVenyu Solutions Inc., a provider of data center, managed hosting, cloud, virtualization and data protection solutions just announced a new customer win — Bowman Systems. Bowman, a company that specializes in software and information, is using Venyu’s data center, which is built to Department of Defense anti-terrorism protection codes, to safeguard its 2-1-1 crisis hotline, as well as other mission critical data.

Venyu’s Shreveport-Bossier data center became Bowman’s data center plan of choice, due to the fact that the center is built to Department of Defense anti-terrorism force protection codes and is one of the most secure commercial facilities in the country. By using this particular site, it enables Venyu to offer a variety of services, including co-location hosting, cloud hosting, managed hosting and highly-customized hosting.

Bowman previously operated and maintained a large, proprietary in-house data center to serve over 35,000 users in 48 states. However, the company found itself quickly running out of server space.

Bowman is using Venyu for its data center and also its RestartIT remote backup and disaster recovery solution. For Bowman’s 2-1-1/I&R offerings, the company relies on RestartIT as the disaster recovery foundation.
