Recommind Updates Cloud-based eDiscovery Platform, Adds SaaS Offering

Recommind, a San Francisco-based information management software provider, has added a “Mission Control” feature to its Axcelerate electronic discovery (eDiscovery) document review and analysis platform.

Axcelerate 5.2’s Mission Control is “a central operations center to manage [the] review processes more powerfully and easily than has ever been possible,” Recommind said.

“Recommind is pushing the boundaries of innovation within eDiscovery at a rapid rate,” Recommind CEO Bob Tennant said in a prepared statement. “We remain committed to driving the industry forward by creating cutting-edge software features … to optimize and automate some of the most time-consuming and painful processes litigation support teams face today.”

Axcelerate 5.2 includes “Automated Review Prioritization” and “Global Smart Redactions” features as well.

Automated Review Prioritization is designed to help document reviewers find relevant content quickly, while Global Smart Redactions enables users to remove sensitive information from documents via search and entity recognition.

“Lawyers can spend thousands of hours redacting private information like social security numbers or phone numbers before producing documents in a lawsuit or regulatory inquiry,” Dean Gonsowski, Recommind’s global head of information governance, told Talkin’ Cloud. “With Axcelerate 5.2, all those redactions get done almost instantly. For anyone who has redacted documents the old way, it’s nothing short of magic.”

Axcelerate SaaS is now available

Recommind also has released a software-as-a-service (SaaS) version of Axcelerate.

The release, Axcelerate SaaS, is an end-to-end, cloud-based eDiscovery platform that allows users to perform:
