Distribution Watch: D&H Distributing, Arrow Electronics, Jenne

Thank goodness it’s Friday! Let’s wrap up the week with a brand new edition of Distribution Watch, featuring the latest from the channel’s biggest distributors in bite-sized format. This week we’ve got stories from D&H Distributing, Arrow Electronics (ARW) and Jenne Inc.

D&H: D&H's Incentives Rewards program is doubling the points channel partners can receive from select vendors' offerings through Dec. 31, the distributor announced. The bonus program will give resellers two incentive points for every qualifying $10 purchase, which can be redeemed at the online D&H Incentives Mall.

Fourteen vendors are participating in the incentives program, including:

Arrow: National master agent Advoda has announced a new partner agreement with Arrrow Electronics that will add the Advoda network, Internet and voice services to Arrow’s North American cloud service portfolio. The partnership marks the first company to offer network services though the ArrowSphere online marketplace and is expected to provider a more complete solution portfolio for Arrow customers, according to the company.

“Advoda network services allow Arrow solution providers to offer complete technology solutions, increasing win rates and overall revenue per customer,” said Dee Dee Lear, vice president of Cloud and Business Development for Arrow’s North American Enterprise Computing Solutions business. “ArrowSphere solution providers and their customers need network services to optimize their infrastructure as well as provide secure, high-performance cloud access for the end-user. As our priority is to offer best-in-class services aligned with our solution providers’ needs to accelerate their on-ramp to the cloud, we are pleased to bring the Advoda team to our solution provider community.”

Jenne: The IP telephony, videoconferencing and communication solutions value-added distributor announced a new financing tool offering instant access to customer financing information within the Jenne online quote tool.

“This new tool gives our resellers more power to close deals by offering lease financing options to preserve credit lines, while still bringing needed technology to their customers,” said Tony Grilli, chief financial officer at Jenne. “It’s quick and easy to use, and it brings a new level of control to our resellers.”

The financing tool is available through GreatAmerica Financial Services, Jenne’s leasing partner. To start the financing process, resellers simply fill out an online quote; add in customer information; select the term, purchase options and payment information; and submit a proposal letter through the Jenne website.
