Tech Data is hoping 400-plus channel partners will converge on The Venetian April 10-12, 2012, for Channel Link. The goal? Network, educate and build. Tech Data’s fall L.A. Live event was a success, and the distributor wants to capitalize on that momentum. Attending partners will have their choice of sessions focusing on cloud, SMB, mobility, digital signage and health care, each carrying the overall theme, “Bringing You Together. Better.”

Cheese aside, Tech Data’s event also will include “Fast-Track Business Development” sessions that can count toward certification and/or special partner programs. Tech Data also will feature workshops “offered by industry thought leaders,” vendors and Tech Data top brass, according to the press release announcing the event. But it’s the keynote speaker who Tech Data hopes will draw partners from all corners: American football legend Terry Bradshaw. And if Bradshaw doesn’t tickle your fancy, former Eagles lead guitarist Don Felder will be providing the entertainment with his Don Felder Band to partners not immersed in new certification training sessions.
