LabTech Software has successfully completed a set of defined tests focused on ServiceNow (NOW) integration interoperability, security and performance.

The Tampa, Florida-based remote monitoring and management (RMM) platform provider has received certification of its integration with ServiceNow, ensuring that best practices are utilized in the design and implementation of LabTech’s app with ServiceNow.

So what does this certification of LabTech’s integration with ServiceNow mean for managed service providers (MSPs)?

LabTech Software said the LabTech/ServiceNow integration “equips LabTech users with automated scheduled inventory of assets throughout their organization, lightning-fast remote control and chat capabilities to quickly respond to incidents, ticketing control to achieve operational consistency and a service catalog that automatically delivers based on approved business processes.”

LabTech Software CEO Matt Nachtraub told MSPmentor that his company and ServiceNow share the belief that great customer service and community focus are key for their companies.

“From what I hear about ServiceNow’s approach to fanatical customer service and community building, there is very strong alignment with the LabTech approach to delivering more than just software,” he told MSPmentor. ” From initial signs of our booth traffic at the ServiceNow event this week, their customer base agrees.”

In addition, LabTech Software said its integration with ServiceNow offers LabTech customers several new capabilities, including:

  • Greater visibility with end users

  • Rapid response through remote access to any controlled endpoint

  • Self-service delivery through a customizable approval workflow

“Through our integration with ServiceNow, we are further optimizing our users’ ability to manage their internal IT operations by reducing the workload and time-to-resolutions, giving technicians more time to focus on providing a phenomenal user experience,” LabTech Software CEO Matt Nachtrab said in a prepared statement.

ServiceNow this week announced the launch of the ServiceNow Store with both paid and free applications and integrations for the ServiceNow platform. At launch, there are more than 80 certified applications and integrations ServiceNow customers.

More than 4,600 customers currently use LabTech Software, and LabTech Software continues to explore ways to bolster its RMM platform as well.

For example, LabTech Software integrated its RMM platform with Veeam Software earlier this month. Veeam offers backup and disaster recovery (BDR) and virtualization management solutions for VMware (VMW) vSphere and Microsoft (MSFT) Hyper-V virtual environments.

As part of this integration, the Veeam Backup & Replication solution is now available to MSPs through LabTech Software.
