Application compliance and desktop management tools provider PolicyPak Software has released a new “Pak” for IT management, customer service and remote control software provider LogMeIn (LOGM) to enforce and lock down settings in the popular remote user application. Here are the details.

The pre-configured Pak sets and enforces policies for users’ applications. By taking this approach, users get the same experience every time they use the application.

Once users leverage PolicyPak to manage LogMeIn Pro, they can also access all their other enterprise desktop applications the same way: Flash, Lync, Java, Firefox, and any custom applications.

Founder of PolicyPak Software and Group Policy MVP Jeremy Moskowitz said in a prepared statement that “misconfigured settings for an application such as LogMeIn Pro could be serious.”

IT administrators who want to try out the PolicyPak software can contact the company to receive a free trial.
