LabTech Software has released LabTech 10, a new version of its remote monitoring and management (RMM) platform that integrates ScreenConnect remote control technology at no additional cost.

Professional services automation (PSA) software provider ConnectWise, which holds an equity stake in LabTech Software, acquired ScreenConnect last month.

“LabTech 10 commemorates the first game-changing event of the year thus far,” Tony Thomas, LabTech Software’s director of product management, told MSPmentor. “This latest release provides instant value out of the box with an integration that enables partners to install, configure, deploy and utilize the power of ScreenConnect. Support staff can leverage an arsenal of platform capabilities to rapidly analyze systems, resolve problems, reduce onsite visits and ultimately save time.”

Other LabTech 10 features include:

  • Access to the LabTech Solution Center

  • Managed services accounting framework

  • Network monitoring capabilities

  • Refactored Mac agent built on the POSIX platform

  • Script debugger to locate, troubleshoot and calibrate scripts

Matt Nachtrab, LabTech Software’s CEO, said LabTech 10’s new features “meet the evolving needs of our partners and the IT service industry.” He also noted that the new release could help LabTech Software partners bolster their RMM capabilities.

More than 4,600 IT service providers worldwide currently use LabTech, the company said. Thomas said LabTech Software is focused on enabling “transformative impacts” this year as well, including user-centric IT services, cloud services management and user interface/user experience enhancements.
