Tampa, Florida-based professional services automation (PSA) platform provider ConnectWise is working with national commercial equipment finance company GreatAmerica Financial Services to help IT solution providers reduce their invoicing costs.

The companies this week announced an integration that enables IT solution providers to outsource their invoicing through GreatAmerica.

Greg VanDeWalker, GreatAmerica’s senior vice president and general manager, told MSPmentor that the new integration leverages ConnectWise’s ticketing system to report payment delinquencies to IT solution providers and ensures that they are immediately notified any time a customer is past due.

“Now, you can go directly into ConnectWise, get the numbers you need and put them into an invoice,” he said. “And if a customer is delinquent, it’ll push it back into ConnectWise.”

IT solution providers can leverage the ConnectWise-GreatAmerica integration to reduce their invoicing costs, VanDeWalker added, because it enables solution providers “to place their miscellaneous charges that occur with their managed services contracts on the invoice GreatAmerica sends monthly with equipment charges and service.”

VanDeWalker noted that the integration can help IT solution providers automate their billing processes as well.

“With this integration, GreatAmerica can automatically pull all pass-through charges onto the GreatAmerica invoice,” VanDeWalker said in a prepared statement.

ConnectWise announces new integrations

In addition to the ConnectWise-GreatAmerica integration, ConnectWise has unveiled new integrations to help IT solution providers automate their operations.

ConnectWise CEO Arnie Bellini today provided details about several new integrations during his keynote address at IT Nation in Orlando, Florida.

Bellini announced new integrations that are designed to simplify and accelerate cloud migrations, along with an integration with customers’ Active Directory that will let technicians identify users.

He also pointed out that his company is targeting “massive technological change” and “taking the technology we have in front of us and connecting it.”
