Welcome

CloudJumper, the workspace-as-a-service (WaaS) platform provider, has appointed Robin Brandl, previously with VMware and Microsoft, to vice president of strategic alliances.

Brandl joins CloudJumper as the company builds on its relationship with Microsoft and prepares for the combined delivery of Cloud Workspace Management Suite (CWMS) software with the Windows Virtual Desktop platform. He will expand the company’s alliance with Microsoft and other technology partners while supporting the company’s base of solution delivery partners.

“The introduction of Microsoft Windows Virtual Desktop and its integration with CWMS presents a tremendous opportunity for CloudJumper and its global ecosystem of IT solution providers,” he said. “The company is bringing real innovation to the delivery and consumption of virtual desktop and IT workspace solutions by uniquely streamlining workflow orchestration and automation. I am very bullish on the market and excited to join CloudJumper in support of its cloud forward partners and customers.”

Prior to CloudJumper, Brandl served as global business development manager for VMware’s Horizon Cloud on Azure business unit. Before that, he served as the enterprise mobility/remote desktop services (RDS) national sales lead for Microsoft, spearheading the launch of the platform throughout North America.

In addition, Brandl served as the global Microsoft evangelist for Citrix’s worldwide Microsoft alliance team.

CloudJumper CWMS software is a complete cloud-based platform for desktop-as-a-service (DaaS), WaaS and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) delivery.

“The timing of this appointment is ideal as a greater number of businesses switch to virtual desktops, applications and complete workspaces in the cloud,” said JD Helms, CloudJumper’s president. “Microsoft’s integration of CloudJumper CWMS and the introduction of Microsoft Windows Virtual Desktop validates the market and our approach. We are very pleased to have Robin join our team as his experience will be instrumental in the expansion of important technology partnerships globally.”
