BCN has expanded its cloud voice portfolio to include Cox Voice Service from Cox Business.

This service offers customers a plain old telephone service (POTS) replacement option. In markets that Cox serves, BCN sales partners can now deliver cloud voice services to customers using Cox’s network.

Cox Business, a part of Cox Communications, serves more than 6.5 million customers in 18 states with a multitude of voice, video and data connectivity solutions.

Julian Jacquez is BCN‘s president and COO.

“The addition of the Cox Voice Service to the BCN cloud voice portfolio will give BCN partners an additional option for customers in markets served by Cox who are looking for a more cost-effective, IP-based answer for traditional telecom applications,” he said. “As costs for services such as POTS continue to rise, this is becoming a more pressing need.”

Competitive Advantage

Providing customers with a clear path forward as technology continues to shift is always a competitive advantage, Jacquez said.

The Cox service allows partners to guide customers toward emerging technologies to fuel future growth, he added.

“The fact that BCN provides a complete technology solution that can encompass traditional voice to diverse forms of internet connectivity, cloud voice, security and more is a tremendous advantage,” Jacquez said.

BCN and the team at Cox have been partnering successfully for a number of years, he said. The two companies will continue bringing new solutions to partners and customers.

Jay Clark is vice president of carrier sales and operations at Cox.

“We are excited to expand upon our longstanding relationship with BCN through this new service platform,” he said. “Together, we will continue to support customers with solutions for myriad telecom challenges that allow them to focus on their business growth.”
