StorCentric has unveiled its new Nexsan Partner Certification Program, an enhancement to its Global Nexsan Partner Program.

The new StorCentric Nexsan program allows channel partners to improve how they serve customers’ data management and security needs. Furthermore, they fortify their trusted adviser status and drive additional business opportunities.

Here’s our most recent list of important channel-program changes you should know.

Nexsan, a StorCentric company, recently announced Unity Software version 7.0, which is included in the certification. It also announced its focus on data security with the Nexsan Unbreakable Backup solution to combat ransomware attacks.

Partners can get certification via the Nexsan partner portal in four steps:

  • Watch the certification video.

  • Take and pass the quiz after watching the video.

  • Upon completion, StorCentric will email a Nexsan Partner Certification and a digital badge.

  • The Nexsan certification achievement can be displayed on the partner’s company website and social media.

“Data security along with reliable, trusted solutions have become increasingly important in the data management and storage space amid the COVID-19 backdrop,” she said. “The threat of ransomware has skyrocketed year after year. And this was an ideal time to roll out this program to ensure our partners remain up to date and knowledgeable, particularly on all of our data security solutions.”

StorCentric partners wanted a program that would recognize and affirm their data management expertise, Subedar said.

“Furthermore, they wanted a program that would keep them up to date on our offerings, especially our unique security solutions such as Unbreakable Backup and Unity,” she said. “As always, we strive to make our training materials informative, yet succinct, as that tends to be our partners’ preference. We have extremely loyal partners in the Nexsan Partner Program, many for years, And we expect this program enhancement will also be met with great success.”

Important Capability For Partners

The ability to protect and recover data quickly is an important capability for partners, Subedar said.

StorCentric enables our channel partners to deliver quality solutions with unprecedented flexibility, data protection, performance and expandability,” she said.

Doug Cole is owner of LH Computer Services and a member of the Nexsan advisory council.

“The Nexsan Partner Certification Program will be an efficient way for the entire LH Computer Services team to stay up to date and ready to serve our clients,” he said.
