ViaWest, Infolink Partner on Analytics, Data Integration

ViaWest, the North American cloud services and managed services provider, has brought aboard Infolink Consulting as the newest member of its channel partners portfolio. The two companies will reportedly collaborate on adding a new analytics and data integration solution to ViaWest’s managed services offering.

“Consulting firms and IT organizations, such as Infolink, look to ViaWest’s Channel Program to not only enhance their sales by offering expanded services, but also help increase customer loyalty and improve the overall experience,” ViaWest VP of Channel Sales Monty Reagan said in a prepared statement. “The ability to tailor mutually beneficial end-to-end solutions, with each company leading with their area of expertise, creates a win for all.”

Infolink is a major add for ViaWest. The company specializes in analytics and data integration solutions and is already an IBM business partner. So Infolink brings the type of reputation and name recognition within the MSP market that can certainly help strengthen ViaWest’s brand.

The move is the first we’ve heard from ViaWest since the company appointed Jason Carolan as its first ever Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in mid-March 2012. And the move certainly fits in with Carolan’s plan to build a strategic direction for all of ViaWest’s products and technology initiative. Adding analytics and data integration capabilities should be a big boost for the MSP. Watch out for similar moves from ViaWest throughout the year in order to further strengthen its managed services offering.
