Help Wanted: Network Engineer, Network Technician

Are you using LinkedIn to increase your chances of being found by potential employers? With 92 percent of U.S. companies using social media to find talent in 2012, you should. According to a survey by Jobvite, a recruitment platform for the social Web, 93 percent of respondents have used LinkedIn for recruitment efforts. Here are the details, including our latest job board posts.

Jobvite’s Social Recruiting Survey 2012 polled more than 1,000 human resources and recruitment professionals on their social recruiting activities and intentions. Social recruiting, according to the survey, gained momentum because of its positive results. Out of the most recent social hires, 89 percent of respondents have hired from LinkedIn, 25 percent through Facebook and 15 percent through Twitter.

What do recruiters see on social media accounts that turn them away? Profanity in posts and tweets garnered a 61 percent negative reaction, while 47 percent of respondents reacted negatively to posts about alcohol consumption. Fifty-four percent of respondents responded negatively toward grammar or spelling mistakes in posts.

With that in mind, here’s a look at some of the most recent job openings at the MSPmentor job board:

  • Network Engineer in Texas

  • IT Helpdesk/Response Team in Barrington, Ill.

  • Network Technician in Wakefield, Mass.
