PA Group USA announced on Thursday that it has acquired Cloud Nine Solutions to boost its software consulting business in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software category. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Cloud Nine Solutions is a certified Microsoft partner that offers expertise in Microsoft Dynamics CRM and SharePoint, delivering solutions that run on-premise or in the cloud as a software-as-a-service. The company also offers custom website and application development.

Both PA Group USA and Cloud Nine Solutions are based in Chattanooga, Tenn.

“I’m very excited about the acquisition because it gives us entry into key public sector verticals such as economic development and education that are very strategic to our growth,” PA Group CEO, Jon Buchan said in a statement. “As we continue to learn what truly amazing customer experiences mean, we realized that systems of record are not getting the job done and systems of engagement are required in order to build customer loyalty and optimize profit margins. Cloud Nine has exemplified what innovative systems of engagement mean and we look forward to working with them.”

Cloud Nine Solutions plans to expand its CRM offerings with new CRM releases for vertical markets including higher education and retailers.

In addition to the acquisition of Cloud Nine Solutions, PA Group has been accepted into the new Microsoft Cloud Solutions Provider (CSP) program, which was released in July to offer partners the ability to offer the entire portfolio of Microsoft solutions and services and create custom offerings for end user customers.
