Fresh Off Rebrand, Dropsuite Partners with Ingram Micro to Extend Reach

Cloud-based backup solutions provider Dropsuite has partnered with Ingram Micro to bring its services to more small and medium-sized enterprises.

According to an announcement on Monday, the new partnership will focus on the North American market, which will bring Dropsuite’s website and database backup product, Dropmysite, to the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace.

The partnership comes closely after Dropsuite rebranded in March, which came with its public listing on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX). Its solutions include backup, recovery, archiving, and file-based server backup.

Channel partners currently using the Cloud Marketplace in the US can access Dropmysite immediately, the companies said. Dropmysite will be offered alongside other cloud solutions such as Office 365, Cisco WebEx, RingCentral, and Dropbox, which recently extended its agreement with Ingram Micro.

“The Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace is quickly becoming a preferred destination for channel partners looking to successfully grow their business and footprint in the cloud,” Sean Oberholtzer, Director of Cloud Business Development at Ingram Micro, said in a statement. “We are excited to add Dropmysite to our Cloud Marketplace and deliver a best-in-class solution that accelerates business transformation and cloud success.”

“Dropsuite is expanding fast globally. This partnership extends our reach in North America through Ingram Micro’s vast network of channel partners,” Ridley Ruth, COO of Dropsuite, said in a statement. “Dropsuite’s backup platform caters to the growing need of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to safeguard their digital assets from IT threats. We are excited about this partnership with Ingram Micro as it marks a major milestone for our business, enabling seamless delivery of our backup and recovery solutions to SMEs via the Cloud Marketplace.”
