CA Technologies, GreenPages Partner on Cloud Solutions

CA Technologies and consulting firm GreenPages Technology Solutions have announced a partnership to jointly offer customers service automation and capacity management capabilities from the cloud. In addition, GreenPages will promote virtualization and cloud solutions to customers by leveraging the CA Automation Suite for Clouds and CA Virtual Placement Manager.
The deal is fairly straightforward: CA provides the cloud mojo, while GreenPages offers professional services and integration to help get its customers to the cloud.
David Bradley, senior vice president of CA Global Channel Sales, lays out the value of the deal in a prepared statement:
“Our partnership with GreenPages enables us to reach more companies with the technology solutions that make their information work as a business asset and revolutionize the way they do business. When companies leverage the power of the cloud, they’re able to transform and optimize their infrastructure, operations and service to improve business agility, increase cost savings and ultimately, customer satisfaction.”
While I can’t find a straight answer, my guess is that this deal is under the CA Cloud Market Accelerator Program, the tech giant’s recent initiative to help channel pros help customers make cloud migrations. But is this agreement a sign of more channel momentum for CA Technologies? Keep watching TalkinCloud for answers.
