Informa Tech Channels, which manages media, digital marketing services and live events targeting channel partners across global information and communications industries, has formed a partnership with mergers and acquisitions firm ITX to offer an M&A Marketplace that will facilitate the sale of IT-enabled businesses.

With a global channel audience and database of technology advisors, agents, managed services providers and VARs, Informa Tech Channels publishes technology channel industry analysis and insights through its Channel Futures brands and organizes the industry’s largest live channel events under the Channel Partners Conference & Expo and MSP Summit brands. In partnering with one of the industry’s premier channel-focused M&A advisory firms, it will help channel partners looking to sell their business connect with buyers or expand their organizations via mergers.

ITX is a Martinwolf Co. that has built a proprietary database of more than 55,000 strategic buyers and private equity firms. ITX leverages this database using AI algorithms and industry knowledge from more than 240 closed transactions compiled over its 25-year history. The marketplace framework broadcasts to curated list of qualified buyers or investors.

It is designed to help channel partners across the entire channel industry connect via merger, acquisition and strategic investment to accelerate their business model transformation at a critical time in the channel. The M&A Marketplace will connect partners on a digital platform but also provide live engagement at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo/The MSP Summit, May 1-4, 2023; the Channel Partners Europe Summit, 13-14 June; and the Channel Futures Leadership Summit and MSP 501 Gala Awards, Oct. 30-Nov. 2.

The partnership is designed to benefit the entire technology and communications channel, which is being transformed via M&A — one of the most impactful channel trends in decades. Channel partners will now be able to access services to help them connect as they look to grow via acquisition, exit their business, team up with organizations that have complementary skills or scale to answer demand from customers in small, medium and large market segments.

“This partnership between Channel Futures and ITX is a new opportunity that has not been available to our audience until now,” said Kelly Danziger, General Manager, VP of Channel at Informa Tech. “With the ITX M&A Marketplace, those in our community interested in selling their IT business can access a global network of buyers, along with 25 years of transaction experience in this space.”

Danziger said the partnership between the organizations will focus on digital content, lead generation, social media, live conference engagement and other avenues to connect partners to the ITX M&A Marketplace.
