Xerox (XRX) is continuing to upgrade its managed print services partner program for managed services providers (MSPs) by connecting Xerox technology to IT management software.

The multinational document management corporation initially sweetened the pot for its managed print partners back in March by adding new ways to generate recurring revenue and strengthen relationships with customers.

On Wednesday, Xerox released a new cloud-based plug-in that integrates its printer discovery and monitoring capabilities with LabTech Software, a remote monitoring and management (RMM) platform for MSPs.

Through the integration, MSPs can now leverage Xerox PrintAssist Services through the LabTech Control Center, where they’ll automatically be informed of printer activity and error messages.

Xerox Channel Partner Operations Global Marketing and Value Proposition Vice President Toni Clayton-Hine told MSPmentor in an interview that the company’s strategy for its channel partners is expand, connect and simplify.

“We have some amazing technology and opportunities that we think will really help partners expand their sources of profitable revenue by connecting our services to their unique solutions,” she said.

Clayton-Hine noted that Xerox will be announcing more RMM integrations for MSPs in the future but could not publicly disclose a time frame.
