McAfee — only a few months after acquiring SaaS security specialist MX Logic — is providing some clues and statements about the company’s managed services strategy. Here’s a look.

In this McAfee-produced video, Rob Louks, senior VP of worldwide professional services, shares some managed services insights:

such as Sophos — are playing up the fact that big rivals like Symantec and McAfee sometimes sell direct.

However, McAfee seems to be managing the MX Logic acquisition well, according to managed services partners that have worked with MX Logic for several years. McAfee acquired MX Logic in July 2009. During the McAfee Focus partner conference in October 2009, McAfee reached out to MX Logic partners like Spam Soap to reiterate a strong focus on channel partnering.
