ManageEngine Promotes Cisco Video Traffic Monitoring to MSPs

ManageEngine, which develops managed services software, has extended its NetFlow Analyzer bandwidth monitoring and traffic analytics to support video traffic monitoring. The effort leverages Cisco Medianet technology. No doubt, video traffic monitoring should be a growing trend in 2012. Here’s why.

So far, 19.7 percent of top MSPs offer video conferencing and telepresence services to customers; and 12.7 percent of top MSPs offer managed video surveillance services to customers, according to preliminary results from our fifth-annual MSPmentor 100 survey, which closes Dec. 23, 2011 (complete results will surface in February 2012). It’s a safe bet those MSPs need video monitoring capabilities and tools.

Enter ManageEngine’s NetFlow Analyzer. In addition to video monitoring capabilities, version 9.5 includes a new user interface, a central grid to monitor network devices, added personalization features and support for Citrix SystemsAppFlow solution — which is designed to turn company data into application flow records that can be exported.

A free 30-day trial of NetFlow Analyzer 9.5 and the accompanying video traffic tool is currently available here. The new ManageEngine NetFlow Analzyzer 9.5 starts at $795.
