Lloyd Group Acquires Greenhouse, Expands Range, Services

Some MSPs make acquisitions to offer their clientele more services, some do so with the intention of expanding their service region, and still others do both. Case and point: The New York City-based Lloyd Group, a northeastern United States solutions provider, has acquired Greenhouse IT, a New York City technology service provider.

Through the acquisition, the Lloyd Group plans to extend its services to small and medium-sized (SMB) businesses in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey and Philadelphia. In all, The Lloyd Group acquired 20 new clients through the Greenhouse acquisition and brought on the entire Greenhouse IT staff.

The technology consulting firm will also use its Greenhouse acquisition to offer its clients more services, including a private cloud server offering.

Don’t expect the Greenhouse IT acquisition to be the last for the Lloyd Group. The company has a long-term growth strategy centered around acquiring more companies similar in size to Greenhouse IT.
