Interface, Dollar General Sign Managed Cloud Services Deal

Interface Security Systems, a managed cloud services provider, has signed a long-term managed services contract with Dollar General, a  discounted distributor in the U.S. Dollar General, according to a prepared statement, is seeking to “improve operations and increase the security of customer and employee data, while providing significant reductions in operating expenses.”

In a press release Interface CEO Michael Shaw said:

“What Interface delivers for any single location or a large organization like Dollar General is the economy of vendor consolidation. Interface offers a single point for billing and support, which combined with system standardization are huge improvements in efficiency.”

Interface has been providing managed services to both small businesses and larger corporations with multi-site locations for over two decades, and has been certified by a long list of respected technology leaders. More recently, Interface has been positioning itself as a managed cloud services provider. The company specifically targets businesses in the commercial and retail sectors.

Interface will provide Dollar General with wide-area network management, PCI compliance, wireless access management, IP alarm system monitoring, IP video surveillance and interface digital voice throughout the company’s 9,500 store locations in 35 states, the companies say.
