PRESS RELEASE — Petaluma, CA (December 17, 2015) – Intelisys Communications, Inc., the nation’s leading Technology Services Distributor, has opened a new office in Southbury, Connecticut, to continue its firm commitment to regional support of its growing number of East Region Sales Partners.

“The East Region is the fastest growing territory for Intelisys,” said Rick Ribas, SVP East Region. “Our Sales Partners are incredibly talented and dedicated to their customers. Local, in-region support is necessary for them to sustain their growth and provide the level of service their customers demand and deserve, and we will keep investing to ensure we can deliver it.”

Ribas joined Intelisys in July 2010, and was promoted this month to Senior Vice President, East Region. During his tenure, some 1,200 new Sales Partner recruits have joined the Intelisys community.

“Intelisys may have begun 21 years ago as a California company, but our Sales Partners expect top level support both when and where they need it,” said Carol Beering, SVP Sales Operations. “Our Connecticut office services the entire East Region, with full Partner Support, Cable and Supplier Management services in their time zone. Further expansion of this team is planned for 2017 and beyond, as we strive to meet and exceed our Sales Partners’ expectations.”

The new office in Southbury, Connecticut, was purpose-built for Intelisys and will hold a team of up to 23. Intelisys colleagues began the process of moving in on December 7, 2015, with the official opening scheduled for Thursday, December 17, 2015.
