Clarity Channel Advisors will launch an advisory group that could help managed service providers (MSPs) boost their recurring revenues and customer retention rates.

The MSP and value-added reseller (VAR) consultant has announced the formation of the Clarity Channel Advisory Group (CCAG) to help service providers transition to a cloud-focused strategy.

“Clarity Channel Advisory Group wants to help as many MSPs as possible become as successful as possible,” Jim Lippie, chief advisor for Clarity Channel Advisors, told MSPmentor. “Our focus is helping service providers deliver more value to their clients, which will increase recurring revenue and positively affect retention rates.”

Sister site Talkin’ Cloud provides additional details about how CCAG will work:

“Members are placed into a group with 11 other MSPs from different North American geographies. Each group is then assigned a “Clarity Advisor” who will conduct weekly “Transformation Calls.” The purpose of these calls is to provide MSPs with the knowledge, skills and abilities to survive in the market going forward.

“In addition to weekly conference calls, CCAG will hold a monthly sales webinar presented by John Barrows.”

CCAG also will focus on helping MSPs leverage “a sound cloud strategy combined with the aggregation of client business analytics,” according to Lippie.

Each group member will be given access to the CCAG Clarity Intelligence Platform (CIP), Lippie said, which allows service providers to aggregate their customers’ business metrics for presentation in dashboard format.

Lippie already has a longstanding reputation as a successful entrepreneur and thought leader in the managed services market.

Lippie previously sold IT consulting firm Thrive Networks to Staples (SPLS) and served as IndependenceIT‘s president before launching Clarity Channel Advisors last September.

He also pointed out that he has collected feedback from various MSPs over the past few years to better understand the challenges that these service providers face every day.

“I have had the opportunity to speak with hundreds of MSPs all over the country the last two-plus years and understand the challenges they face in the changing market conditions,” he said. “I feel fortunate to have the type of experience that can truly help service providers transition their business from where the market has been over the last several years to where it’s going.”

CCAG is accepting pre-registration from service providers for sessions starting April 6.
