Orange County, California-based managed service provider (MSP) inhouseIT this week announced incloudIT, private cloud services that are specifically designed for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).

inhouseIT said incloudIT provides SMBs with a fully customizable private cloud that features fixed, predictable costs.

“Our cloud offering is built to be flexible enough to meet the requirements of the local Southern California business community yet retain the capabilities they once had with their on-premise infrastructure. [Delivering] security, performance and flexibility in a fixed-price offering are our critical success factors,” inhouseIT Chief Technology Officer Chris Richner told MSPmentor.

incloudIT offers SMBs:

  • Fully managed infrastructure

  • Power redundancy that includes multiple data centers, diesel generators and battery backup

  • The ability to add or subtract cloud environment services based on business requirements

“We found our clients have very specific needs and requirements that could not be met,” Richner said in a prepared statement. “Developing a local, private cloud means that we can take advantage of local data centers to enhance speed [and] bandwidth and offer direct contact that some of our clients require.”

inhouseIT added that incloudIT complements Microsoft Office 365 and uses both hardware and software firewall technologies to deliver multiple levels of security.

“Our clients are at many different positions on their cloud migration path,” inhouseIT CEO Glen Ackerman said. “And each of them has very different needs when it comes to moving to the cloud. We’re excited that incloudIT’s inherent flexibility and security can finally help them achieve their business goals.”

Where is the global private cloud services market headed?

incloudIT could help inhouseIT boost its profits, thanks in part to the rapidly growing global private cloud services market.

Research and Markets recently estimated the global private cloud services market would expand at a 22 percent compound annual growth rate (CAGR) between 2013 and 2018.

In addition to its incloudIT private cloud services, inhouseIT this week also launched a redesigned website that features both managed solutions and cloud solutions from partners such as recovery-as-a-service (RaaS) company Axcient and unified communications (UC) services provider ShoreTel (SHOR).
