Hewlett-Packard (HPQ) is setting its sights squarely on the enterprise mobility market with the release of a new portfolio of tablets, hybrids and ElitePads designed for the mobile workforce. The company also introduced several products built specifically for mobile workers in the healthcare, field services, retail and education markets as the hardware giant looks to provide customers with customized solutions for major verticals.

HP unveiled its eight new enterprise products during a press event in Manhattan, where executives showed off the new devices and emphasized HP’s continuing dedication to delivering mobile solutions designed from the ground up for enterprise workers.

“Mobility for businesses isn’t just a device plus an app or adopting BYOD scenarios; it’s about organizations using purpose-built devices and industry-specific solutions that have the power to transform both the workplace and business workflows,” said Michael Park, vice president and general manager, Commercial Mobility and Software, Business Personal Systems, in a statement.
