Voicecom Acquires iNuntius

Voicecom Telecommunications LLC has acquired iNuntius Inc., a developer of VoIP and unified communications technologies. Together the companies will continue targeting the carrier markets and also will enter the retail arena.

iNuntius Compton, Calif., location will become part of Voicecoms locations in Atlanta, Dallas and Reno, Nev.

As businesses experience a transitional period during which some of their employees or locations are using TDM and some are using VoIP, it is desirable for the applications and services used to remain constant, says Kevin M. Moran, president and CEO of Voicecom. Voicecom will bridge maturing and emerging technologies and provide a constant set of value-added applications to any endpoint regardless of the transport mechanism.

Kevin Torf, president of iNuntius, will become CTO of Voicecom.

Voicecom is a portfolio company of private equity firm The Gores Group LLC and a provider of call answering solutions for the business-to-business market.
