Kim Rusch has joined TBI as a national channel manager.

The Chicago-based master agent says Rusch will work to develop and grow agents via training, technical support, and sales support. She’ll oversee partners in Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana.

“Kim brings extensive experience within the channel space to TBI and a sense of dedication in developing close-knit, trusted relationships with every agent,” said Marco Sanchez, TBI director of sales. “We’re thrilled to have her join our team, and I’m confident she will resonate well within TBI’s agent community.”

Rusch most recently worked for Sandler partners as an area vice president for the Midwest. She had been working for Midwest-based X4 Solutions since 2009 when Sandler acquired the company in 2016. She was the director of partner sales for X4, a position that “focused on growth, development and customer-retention strategies with her agents.”

Rusch helped double revenue over the course of four years and build UCaaS sales by 200 percent, TBI said.

“I’m really excited to join TBI,” Rusch said. “The resources TBI has in place to help our partners grow their businesses is unprecedented in our industry. From sales enablement tools to vendor-agnostic training and white-glove support, TBI is truly ahead of the curve.”

The master agent last month hired a regional channel manager for the Northeast. The company has announced numerous hires in 2018 in the goal of promoting a regional channel strategy.
