PAETEC-Windstream Merger Virtually Complete

Today is PAETEC Holding Corp.’s last day as an independent company.

Effective 11:59 p.m., Windstream Corp. will own PAETEC.

PAETEC, whose stock has traded under the symbol PAET, has notified the NASDAQ of its plans to delist its common stock from the NASDAQ Global Select Market following the completion of the merger.

As previously announced, upon completion of the $2.3 billion deal, PAETEC stockholders will receive .460 shares of Windstream common stock for each share of PAETEC common stock.
