Channel Partnerships: CNSG, Arrow Bring On New Services

A master agent a tech distributor announced new partnerships this week.

Converged Network Services Group (CNSG) partners now can sell BCN Telecom’s connectivity services. BCN is a CLEC serving 75 wholesale network providers.

Randy Friedberg, CNSG’s vice president of business development, said the partnership will help bolster CNSG’s portfolio.

“CNSG is excited to offer our partners and customers the power of BCN to deliver multi-product aggregation with billing for all services consolidated into one monthly invoice, and a state-of the art portal to manage all services at all locations,” he said.{ad}

BCN will come on board a platinum vendor partner. Executive vice president Richard Boudria Jr. said CNSG “has one of the most sophisticated bases of partners in the channel.”

“CNSG’s reputation for exceptional service, solutions and support delivered with the highest integrity, complements BCN’s partner-value proposition and positions our teams to succeed in delivering unique, high-quality telecommunications solutions for their customers,“ he said.

Meantime, Arrow Electronics has signed an agreement to distribute the products of the forensic security provider Guidance Software, the forensic security provider, in North America.

Guidance now will have access to Arrow’s large distribution network.

“By leveraging Arrow’s ability to deliver scale and reach, we hope to jointly capitalize on both this fast-growing channel opportunity and the high market demand for security products,” said Russell Zientek, vice president of Arrow’s cybersecurity group.

Primary North American distributors include immixGroup (which recently was acquired by Arrow) and Westcon.

Executives at Guidance say this news comes after major changes in the company’s sales strategy. Guidance updated its leadership teams for both its channel and direct sales earlier this year.

“Guidance is committed to growing our business with a high-value distribution network and channel partners,” Scott Skidmore, vice president of global channel. “As our reseller network in North America continues to grow, we are focused on strengthening our capabilities and services so that our partners have choices, not just customers, to fit their market needs.”
