BeQuick Adds Web-Based Order System to OSS

BeQuick Software Inc. (Booth 315) has added a new Web-based ordering system that is fully integrated with its OSS platform, QuickTel. The new system enables a CLECs customers to order service directly via the CLECs Web site.

Whether the customer is ordering new service or is converting an existing line, the system intelligently displays only plans that are available in the customers service area. Furthermore, the system dynamically can set pricing according to the customers location. For example, customers in Zone 3 can receive a higher price than customers in Zone 2.

The system also has an upsell capability that can be used to market additional services to the customer, such as broadband and inside wiring maintenance plans.

After selecting desired plans and additional services, the customer is presented with a highly accurate estimate of the first invoice, including setup charges and taxes. The high accuracy is due to QuickTels real-time taxation capability.

Once the order is submitted, the order then can be provisioned via BeQuicks patent-pending integrated provisioning, which is connected directly to major ILECs.

The whole ordering system can be privately branded and configured according to the CLECs business rules. The system also can be used by remote agents and CSRs, increasing order efficiency and flow-through.
