IT Nation Kicks Off With More Integration News

After a blur of new integrations were announced in the run up to one of the managed service provider industry’s biggest get-togethers, IT Nation kicked off today with more big news from Infrascale, Pax8, StorageGuardian and others.

Among the integrations announced on Day 1 of ConnectWise’s annual fall conference:

Infrascale – The disaster recovery as a service (DRaaS) vendor unveiled enhancements that enable automatic creation of support tickets in ConnectWise Manage when system alarms are created by Infrascale Cloud Backup or Infrascale Disaster Recovery.

Conversely, tickets are automatically closed when the alarms are resolved.

In addition, billing events, including number and types of computers and storage consumption information, now flow seamlessly from Infrascale products into the ConnectWise Manage PSA.

Also, a new inventory and reporting feature allow tracking through the PSA of all devices associated with Infrascale BDR accounts.

Pax8 – Cloud services distributor Pax8 announced today it has augmented its integration with ConnectWise Manage to enable the placement of orders, and management of seat counts and vendor licenses through the PSA.

The upgrades also allow users to leverage the PSA for billing and provisioning of consumption-based products, like Microsoft Azure and ProfitBricks.

AlienVault – Security vendor AlienVault today said it has entered a partnership with ConnectWise to increase availability of the AlienVault USM Anywhere unified security management solution.

Under the arrangement, IT services providers can offer threat detection, incident response and compliance management from within ConnectWise Manage.

Datagate Innovation – Online billing portal vendor Datagate Innovation announced an integration that allows for management of telecommunications billing through ConnectWise Manage.

Datagate’s technology connects with data feeds from a wide range of telecom service providers, and manages the data aggregation, rating, billing and analysis of usage.

The tool shares customer account information with ConnectWise Manage, allowing MSPs to view Datagate invoice information from the PSA.

StorageGuardian – On the eve of IT Nation, StorageGuardian announced the launch of its new Fast Failover service, which allows customers to continuously back up applications and data to a StorageGuardian data center, which can then be used to quickly failover an entire network in the event of an emergency.

All of the newly announced products will be available for demonstrations in the Solutions Pavillion.

Also, view information about other product integrations that were announced in the run up to the conference, including an integration by SOC vendor Arctic Wolf Networks, and enhanced integration between the Kaseya RMM and ConnectWise’s PSA.
