Eric Torres made some noise when he announced he was leaving his job in Datto’s channel. That came just a couple of weeks before news broke that Kaseya was buying the backup and disaster recovery company.

About the same time, we learned that Torres was bound for ScalePad, to become its new VP of channel, a newly created role at the asset life-cycle management firm.
