Informatica — Not Just for Microsoft. Check out Google News.
Informatica now offers a free cloud service for Google Big Query. It’s called Informatica Data Loader and it provides no-cost, no-code cloud data management via SaaS.
Informatica says the platform will help users across the organization move from data to insights in minutes, rather than weeks. That’s because Informatica’s Data Loader supports data ingestion from more than 40 sources to a Google BigQuery cloud data warehouse.
The Data Loader is accessible directly from the Google BigQuery console, and will be available through the Informatica Marketplace as well.
“Data is fundamental to digital transformation, and we partner closely with Informatica to make it very easy for enterprises to bring their data from across platforms and environments into the cloud,” said Gerrit Kazmaier, vice president and general manager at Google Cloud. “The launch of Informatica’s new Data Loader will further simplify the path for customers to bring data into BigQuery for analysis, and accelerate their data-driven business transformations.”
Jitesh Ghai, chief product officer at Informatica, agreed.
“[W]e are enabling every organization to put the power of their data in the hands of business users so they can move from data ingestion to insights at a speed never before possible,” Ghai said.
