Approov partners now have access to the end-to-end mobile app security provider’s first formal partner program.

The global partner program is dedicated to ensuring qualified business, reseller and technology leaders have access to the company’s mobile app security and support, building on the large a number of existing Approov technology partnerships.

Qualified participants can be consultants, MSSPs, resellers or technologists with a focus on safeguarding mobile security.

Approov partners can sell, integrate and support the company’s mobile security solutions to safeguard mobile apps. They work together with Approov technology experts to deliver complete solutions to their customers.

New Mobile App Security Revenue Opportunities

Ted Miracco, Approov’s CEO, said his company has had more informal, ad-hoc partnerships before, and this is an effort to standardize its working relationships with technology and channel partners.

“This is our first formal channel program, although we have a number of channel partners already and a dozen technology alliance partners,” he said. “Approov has traditionally focused on businesses in Europe and North America, but recently there has been an increase in demand for our mobile security solutions in regions such as the Middle East, Africa, South America and Southeast Asia. This global marketplace for cybersecurity solutions has led to an expanded network of partnerships for supporting our clients, and the partnership program is part of our commitment to becoming a global leader in mobile security.”

Approov partners can add value to their business and open new revenue opportunities as they ensure mobile app security in an increasingly interconnected world. Approov offers a range of assistance and tools to partners, as well as access to an ecosystem of experts.

Approov Partners Helped Shape Partner Program

“Our partners have been quite active in helping to outline the requirements for success, which means access to technical resources and the ability to provide inputs on specific requirements for regional markets,” Miracco said. “For example, Approov has always been clear on how it handles personal data as it relates to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and as part of the inputs for the program it became necessary to provide guidance on international privacy legislation in other countries.”

George McGregor, Approov’s vice president, said companies everywhere now completely depend on mobile apps and need to ensure their security.

“Although IT channels are in place for some established app and API solutions, these don’t address the mobile use case,” he said. “We wanted to make it easy for security-minded channels and consultants to help their customers make their apps secure. Secondly, because of the enormous demand for the Approov solution, we need to scale, and the only way to do that is via a partner-driven approach.”

“As our clients depend more and more on mobile apps, they need an innovative solution to protect these apps and APIs,” said Vitor Villani, CEO of Shield Security, an Approov partner. “Working with Approov, we can now deliver that end-to-end solution to our clients and this has allowed us to expand our business into mobile.”
