TMC To Resell XO Data Services

Reseller TMC Communications Inc. announced Wednesday it has entered into an agreement to resell XO Communications Inc.s dedicated Internet access (DIA) and Ethernet over copper (EoC) transport services to businesses across the country through its network of independent sales agents.

XOs DIA services include a range of access types (from T1 to OC12) and speeds from 1.5mbps to 10gbps. The EoC service offers speeds up to 20mbps and is targeted to multilocation, multistate enterprise customers and any business with fewer than 100 employees.

Ethernet over copper is much faster and more cost-effective than a traditional T1 service, enabling our customers to more quickly and effectively download and share data-intensive, latency-sensitive files across the Internet, said TMC President Ron Ireland.

TMC also offers Ethernet over Serial for businesses located in rural areas, or those further away from the phone company central office.
